Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Phoenix

Our Membership Coordinator is Linda Lawrence. Linda, along with members of the Membership Ministry, coordinates the guest welcoming activities and our Pathway to Membership classes for new members of our community. She also facilitates the Membership Engagement Committee's efforts in helping new members find their niche at the UUCP.

Linda and her husband moved here from Rockford, IL, and are longtime UUs.

Linda is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister and was an affiliate minister of the Rockford UU church. She has a long history with congregations and served in leadership at the Rockford congregation where she was a member for more than 25 years. Linda brings a great passion for our faith, a depth of knowledge of our history as well as an strong understanding of congregations.

Linda says, "Welcoming and integrating new members into our congregation is very important to me. I think we are called to share the good news of Unitarian Universalism. Why? Because I believe that Unitarian Universalist principles, when put into action, have the power to heal and transform the world.
