Ritual is different from habit, from tradition. So, what is ritual? Why is it important? Why do certain rituals move us deeply and others fall flat? In this 3-session class we will be exploring UU rituals and those from other traditions, from multiple aspects—their history, their religious context, their roles in our modern society and your personal experience with ritual. At the end, you will have the opportunity to design your own ritual that may have meaning for you (not a requirement, just an option). Rev. Christine will lead this participative class.
