These sets of posts are created by what I hope will be the shortcodes used for previewing posts for Compass, and hopefully allowing you to copy/paste the listings from this page directly into a text box in Mailchimp. Draft documentation for the shortcodes is in UUCP Post Widgets & Shortcodes.

Ongoing Events Shortcode

For CM, might need a shortcode that combines all the upcoming event, ongoing event, and announcement posts together under one heading.

Stewardship Campaign Final Week – Make Your Commitment Now

UUCP Stewardship logo on a white background.

This is the FINAL week of our Stewardship Campaign. Thank you for the energy and enthusiasm surrounding what and how much UUCP means to you. At the time of writing, we collectively have pledged over $300,000 towards next year’s staff, programming, and outreach. Our goal is $625,000. In years past, about 200 individual pledges have contributed to Stewardship, which would be an average of $3,125 per pledging unit (folks who are pledging together). Some can contribute less and some can give more, of course.

If you have pledged, thank you. May we ask that you speak with others at UUCP to do the same.

If you have not pledged, please act now. www.phoenixuu.org/pledge. By pledging, you commit to the care and preservation of UUCP, while consenting to be counted among the members and friends of UUCP.

Gabi Amiday

Our community members have shared what UUCP means to them. Robert Eland expressed that we put our money where our heart is. Jon and Christina Hohn stated together our efforts can effect change in our community. And Gabi Amiday called us to action to preserve UUCP to cement our legacy.

To maximize the budget for next year, the Stewardship team promises to call, text, and email you for your accountability and pledge. Please save us the time and effort – which is better spent on social justice, education, and inclusion – and make a pledge today.

UUCP Stewardship Campaign Fully Operational

UUCP Stewardship logo on a white background.

March 15 this year marks three full years since the first UUCP live streamed COVID-era service. Comfort and community has been delivered to wherever you were from staff and members in their own local and remote locations. Over time and space, UUCP has proven an enduring progressive legacy in Phoenix and beyond. Thank you for accepting the responsibility to care and preserve our congregation today and into the future. The legacy we leave will be evidenced in the recorded programs, values we live into, and the examples we set in the larger community. We have set and achieved our goals year over year because you made it possible.

We are at least ⅓ of the way towards our $625,000 Stewardship Campaign financial goal, with approximately 70 pledges received! Thank you for your commitment and financial support. Please take a moment to make a responsible financial investment in UUCP.
