The next hike on March 25 will be in the Fountain Hills Preserve and led by Geriann Engle.

The first part of the route is along the Promenade Trail. It’s a higher elevation old road that’s an easy walk, with nice eastward views. It’s about 1-1/2 miles total out & back. The Sonoran Loop starts at the end of this trail and is about 4 miles round trip with a 700 ft elevation change. There are two connector trails to shorten the hike, if desired.

This shows up on “All Trails” as the ‘Western Loop, Sonoran and Promenade Loop. Skip the ‘Western Loop’ stair-master and you’ve got this hike.
