This class on UU Roots is for folks new to UUCP, those who are curious, or those who have been around for a while but maybe never learned all these things. The first class will cover the basics of UU history, covenantal vs. creedal faiths, and the origin and symbolism of the Flaming Chalice. The second class will cover UUCP history specifically, including our origins, why we are a “congregation” and not a “church”, explain some of our traditions, such as the water and flower communions, and how our buildings and land are used.

Material for the classes, including the Zoom link, will be provided after you register.
