Young Religious Unitarian Universalists - YRUU

YRUU creates a place for high school students to meet, engage with their values, and contribute to the UUCP vision and mission. High school-age UUs put our faith into action every day by daring to be real, showing acceptance and support, leading with courage, and acting for justice.

Following Coming of Age, our children are typically members of UUCP. Some families and youth visit UUCP to explore a faith community. At this time in their lives, youth have the need to form community, explore their values, and deepen their engagement.

YRUU advances the inclusion of youth, while exploring various aspects of theology and taking action to serve in justice activities. YRUU primarily meets weekly as a small group. There are scheduled overnights, conventions, and social events shared and attended among the youth.

What should you bring? Bring your authentic-self to the group, and then discuss your challenges and opportunities in life.

We meet Sundays at noon in Annex C.
