CHISPA is a Latinx arm of the League of Conservation Voters. If you would like to help them, please stay in touch with them through their website: www.chispalcv.org, or Facebook page www.facebook.com/ChispaAZ. They have a monthly cleanup of the Salt River, on the second Sunday of each month. They will meet at 2801 S 7th Ave this Sunday, Dec 12, at 8am. (Meeting times may change throughout the year due to sunrise times.) CHISPA also has garden sites and a farmers’ market at 1200 W. Vineyard called “Spaces of Opportunity”, supported by Project Roots and partnering with Desert Botanical Gardens and more.
