Summer at UUCP reinvigorated joyspotting as a spiritual practice for me. The creative Sunday Services led by our Worship Associates & Worship Staff reminded me that joy is not only ours to keep, it is also ours to give—from drag in the pulpit, puppets singing, the power of song remembrance and celebrating intergenerational friendship, and more. Spending time at Kids Camp with our Children’s Ministry also taught me that joy opens to us as much as we open to it.
As we slide into the new congregational year, may we continue to be the sharers and spreaders of joy.
