With a special awareness for those who have been historically marginalized, we welcome all, of every race, class, ethnicity, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious background, mental and physical ability and disability. We welcome your whole self, your family into our worship as we build a community of caring, courage, and hope.

We are passionate about anti-racism, anti-oppression, equality, and justice work. Social justice is not just a component of our ministry; it is embedded into every part of us. We strive for a multicultural anti-oppression presence in every aspect of what we do, including worship, outreach, and even committee work.

Upcoming UU the Vote Opportunities

UU the Vote logo, UUCP phoenix logo, "Make Good Trouble with UUCP!" on a gold background

September 14- 17: Join UUs across the country for virtual phone and text banking events, targeting Michigan voters. Learn the stakes of the Michigan election, including proposed ballot initiatives on abortion access and voting rights, and what they mean for voters in Michigan and around the country. Learn more and sign up.

September 25: You asked for it! The UUCP Good Trouble team will be hosting an in person letter and postcard writing party after service. We’ll provide the postcards and letters. You provide the camaraderie! We will also have stamps available for anyone who wants to get involved but could use some help with the cost of postage. The more the merrier! Please RSVP to goodtrouble@uucp.org by September 24 if you plan to attend, and let us know if you need stamps so we can plan accordingly.

All activities aimed at getting out the vote for the November 2022 election can be reported to goodtrouble@uucp.org or you may report directly on the UU the Vote AZ Report Form.

In case you missed it, please take a minute to read our September 2022 Good Trouble Newsletter.

Note: Let us know if you work with a non-partisan organization that needs help with any voter related activities, and we will get the word out! We still have room in the Good Trouble group; please reach out to us for additional information: goodtrouble@phoenixuu.org
