On February 11, 2023 at 2:00pm, Urban Nocturnes will perform a concert of music for strings and clarinet at UUCP, featuring works by Mendelssohn, Glazunov, and Mozart. The concert will also include the premier of a string quartet by UUCP member Glenn Stallcop, local composer and former double bassist with The Phoenix Symphony. Glenn will be at the performance to present his piece and give insight into its composition.

Also joining the program will be guest violinist Ruggero Allifranchini, former Co-Concertmaster of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and founding member of the Borromeo String Quartet. Fans of The Phoenix Symphony may recognize him as the orchestra’s Guest Concertmaster for the 2021-22 season.

General admission tickets are $28 per person; you can buy them online at Eventbrite. Tickets will also be available at the door. Student tickets are $10 at the door with student ID.
