The next UUCP Book Discussion Group meeting will be in Annex B at 9:00am on Sunday, October 29, 2023. The group will discuss parts of three chapters in Generations: The Real Differences Between Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, Boomers, and Silents—and What They Mean for America’s Future by Jean M. Twenge PhD.
- Freedom of speech issues from Chapter 6, “Millennials,” that were not covered during the 10/22 meeting.
- Chapter 7, “Polars (Born 2013–2029).” This is a very short chapter.
- Three sections in Chapter 8, “The Future.” The Future of Work, The Future of Family, and The Future of Politics.
The group will vote to select it’s next book for discussion during its 11/5/23 meeting. Please feel free to suggest non-fiction books that you feel may be of interest even if you have not been attending Book Discussion Group meetings. Send suggestions to bookdiscussion@phoenixuu.org.
