Our UUCP November Navigators will be focused on hiking and observing nature. We hope you will join us on Zoom: Zoom ID: 849 3528 7782 | Passcode: 707448 on November 14 and also on November 28. Our second on campus event will take place after service on November 20. One of our Navigator community members will be leading a hike on the UUCP nature trail and we will take turns making observations about the phenology of the campus around us.

Did you know we have a walking trail on the UUCP Campus? Our campus is host to many different plants and animals (flora and fauna). As many of us were off campus the past few years, some of us may not know about the on campus hiking trail. Maybe you knew about the campus nature trail but you haven’t made your way back to it since returning to a non zoom service. This all ages event is the perfect opportunity to connect with the community and outdoor nature of our campus.

In September our Navigators group learned about community based science. We practiced making on campus observations with our Monarch and Milkweed theme in October. This month we are excited to learn more about incorporating community based science into our hiking. We are excited to do this as a group in nature. We hope you can join us as we continue to learn more about the phases of nature on campus.
