Join UUCP Navigators for a discussion centered on Environmental Justice, and Youth at the center of the movement! We will be viewing and discussing some of the prominent youth voices that spoke recently at the 2021 Youth 4 Climate: Driving Ambition UN Climate Change conference (COP26). We will be watching videos of a few of the youth speakers that passionately spoke about their role in the environmental justice movement, as well as a video sharing the origins of the environmental justice movement. Let’s share what motivates us to take action for climate issues, and ways we already support communities impacted by climate change and the resource extraction industry.
