Our next Navigator meetings will take place on Monday, August 8, and Monday, August 22. Each of our meetings will be at 6:30pm to allow more time for families and individuals to prepare for the meetings.
Our August theme for Navigators is “Getting Our Ideas Out”. In past months, we have looked at a few different social and environmental justice issues. We have also looked at the interconnectedness of environmental and social issues. As a group, we will help each other choose an issue we strongly identify with. Secondly, we will brainstorm how to voice our opinions with others and take action to address the issues we care about.
If you would like to get the ball rolling, pick an issue you feel passionate about. Get brave and try writing a few sentences, drawing some pictures or recording your thoughts about your issue. Gather these ideas and bring them to our meeting!
