Let’s help monarch butterflies increase in numbers! They need milkweed plants as the only food for their caterpillars. So we will plant some and sell others to families in our congregation, Desert View Learning Center, and the Early Education Cooperative Preschool here at UUCP. We are targeting November for the sale, but would like to find out how many people would like to buy one or more plants. We will have the price for a plant by October.
Please look for the person with a butterfly headband during worship on Sundays and sign up for your plant(s) starting this weekend, September 4, and following Sundays, or email earthjustice@phoenixuu.org.
