Our January subject of Camping went well. We finished our month with our special guest Bonnie White from the Outdoor Group. Bonnie shared her experiences with the UUCP Outdoor Group’s recent hikes in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve as well as the projected campout this May at Sunset Crater National Park. Our Navigators members Nabi and Jera gave a report back from their recent camping trip at the McDowell Mountain Regional Park, and Bela and Nigel provided a report back from a recent trip to Usery Mountain Regional Park.
The group shared their thoughts on what you love to bring camping as well as what you enjoy seeing while you camp and hike. January was a great month for our Navigators chapter.
