It’s time! It’s finally here! The UUCP auction is legendary for its laughter, its creativity and it’s fun! Whether you have been at UUCP for decades or whether you are brand new, we hope you will come out and gather for this special event. Who knows, maybe you want to bid on selecting a topic for a sermon, which is one of the items I have put up for bidding.
I know that Karen and I love bidding on the experiences–the gatherings at people’s homes with clever themes. We love the opportunity to get to know people more and oftentimes meet other people for the first time. The level of generosity of the folks hosting is admirable and we always leave with a huge smile on our faces.
For folks who don’t have as much money, the organizers have created opportunities to bid on items for lower dollar amounts so that it can be accessible to everyone, and don’t forget the silent auction items where you can get a real deal!
